Let the madness begin!!

I've spent the last 2 days waiting and organizing for tomorrow. The weekend holds alot of events where I'll be presenting cakes. However I can't be all about cakes I can't forget about my family and friends. This week I'm try'n to do it all thats for sure!! night out with the girls, making sure my sons at school on time, a smash cake, vegan taster box for a new "client", new hours at my day job, try'n to have a date night with the hubs.......something had to give and sadly no movie date with the hubs! BUT I've now got time to go over everything again before I start the madness tomorrow night!!! 3 cakes baked tomorrow, cake pops and decoration the night after,then the vegan cakes......LMAO! I'm just hoping I'll remember what jobs where and that I don't show up cover'd in flour!wait to see what happens this week/weekend!

running wild

I've become addicted to cake pops! I can't help it once you've made them a few times their so simple its  addictive! its prefect really the easiest snack for a few kids running wild in your house!

Learning patients is about a 1/2 of a cup in baking

omgosh I've been busy!! whoo! cake pops are NOT easy! hahaha 2 days after I started they're FINALLY  looking cute!!

So I'm taking a few days off.....NOT! gotta restart tomorrow for saturdays cake pops! my son is requesting "robot" cake pops...we'll see! lol...
they're alot messer to make then I thought so I'm not keen on making them all the time! but they're a quick sell so why not! and plus alot of kids are gonna be having birthdays soon!

when will the plumber get here?

awaiting the plumber to arrive so my dishwasher can get fixed!! had my tasting last night it went well, she was able to pick out what flavor she wanted for her cakes/cupcakes. I also got a NEW cake pop book I'm very excited to try it out!! I've already got everything waiting to start baking.....waiting on the dishwasher...y am I waiting...it sucks washing all my regular dishes AND my baking dishes all the time...love my dishwasher

Tasting Tomorrow means baking all night!

 A Client has booked 4 cakes over the next 5 months!! I'm heading to their house tomorrow night for a sampling on the cakes she's interested in!! I'm very excited but since I'l be at my other job al day I guess that means I'll be baking all night! which doesn't really upset me but means my dishwasher better get fixed today! aRG!

a million and one things to do today!

DAMN IT! I ran out of icing sugar for my butter cream icing. leaving no other choice to get up early and wlak to the store while my hubs is getting ready for work b4 the kids wake up! Arg!! I'll be working on a few more batched of VEGAN cupcakes today! very exciting! tomorrow we do the sun run here in vancouver! its 11.5km run/walk  am I stupid! lol I'm gonna be in so much pain after, lol I have a million things to do today in order to be able to walk around tomorrow with a clear head about my house and chores! laundry, clean the house, bake
